Book 1 resigns for the month of May which would have taken place beginning April 26th continuing through May 1st are being waived due to our pending relocation. At this time, please plan to resume monthly Book 1 resigns on May 29th for the month of June following our usual resign process and continue to watch this site for any updates or changes as we transition to our new facilities soon Thank you.

2012 CONTINUING EDUCATION REGISTRATION OPEN

Registration for the 2012 Continuing Education Classes to be held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings through April is currently open. To register, you must download the form under "Continuing Education" and submit it to the JATC. Classes beyond April and Saturday classes will be scheduled later this spring.

PLEASE NOTE: FORMS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE VIA THE WEBSITE, AT THE HALL OR AT UNION MEETINGS. THERE WILL BE NO MAILING. PLEASE PASS THE WORD.

A new website has been developed by the IBEW Second District Office to help in the fight against the increasing number of anti-union legislative proposals submitted each year. Some examples of items that are constantly under attack are prevailing wage laws, licensing laws, and regulations pertaining to apprenticeship ratios. These laws if changed (for the worse), will have a negative impact on all working families, whether they are union members or not.

We are urging all of our members to sign up for this important website. Please also encourage your spouse, family and friends to sign up!
